About Us
Accelerator Education was founded by Derek Rethwisch, a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering, and USC’s School of Cinema-Television. With over 20 years of experience in test preparation, academic tutoring, and admissions consulting, Derek has spent the last few years crafting and perfecting the unique Accelerator approach to education.
All of our instructors and advisers are top scorers, academic experts, Ivy League grads, and perhaps most importantly, caring, passionate, and inspiring people.
Derek has spent the last few years crafting and perfecting the unique Accelerator approach to education. He taught himself how to score in the 99th percentile on every standardized test he’s taken (including a world record six perfect scores on the ACT), and he loves teaching his methods to others!
